The data on hormone therapy and its association with cancer is controversial.

Most of the data associating hormone therapy with cancer involves the use of synthetic estrogen and synthetic progestins. Our office is a self-pay private practice. However, you can use your insurance for your lab work and your prescriptions depending on your individual insurance coverage.

Local pharmacies and compounding pharmacies both have bioidentical hormones. A compounding pharmacy is used when a specific dose or delivery form is unavailable at your regular local pharmacy.
