Dr. Marco Uribe is a native of Laredo, Texas, and received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and Medical Doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Uribe completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals. He began his practice with Austin Area Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1994, after spending seven years as Assistant Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, Texas.

He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, and a number of specialty-related organizations. He holds a clinical faculty position at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and has received numerous Faculty of the Year teaching awards for surgical instructional training.
